How Individual Coaching Works

Results are at the heart of everything we do at E. Nash Associates. Every individual coaching project begins with a complete assessment of your organization to better understand your leadership environment. Next, we’ll develop distinct leadership implementation strategies that are centered around your specific situation. We help individuals bolster the skills and strengths they already have while giving them the tools and strategies they need to achieve even greater leadership success.

ENA works with successful professionals who have managerial authority and responsibility in their organizations and aspire to become better leaders. We help clients achieve mutually determined goals to improve their professional performance and increase their personal satisfaction. As a result of our Clients’ individual improvement, their teams become more cohesive and productive, and their organizations become better places to work.

The Coaching process includes three phases:

Phase One: Assessment and Feedback, Goal Setting, Development Planning

  • Coach conducts 360° interviews with Leader’s key stakeholders.

  • Coach reviews internal assessments and performance reviews, and administers additional assessments, when appropriate.

  • Coach and Leader meet to review assessments and Key Stakeholder feedback data. Coach supports the Leader to hear different perspectives, identify common threads, gain valuable insights and increase self-awareness.

  • Leader and Coach determine specific development objectives. Coach provides a robust set of development recommendations and Leader creates an Individual Development Plan.

Phase Two: One-on-One Coaching

  • Coach and Leader meet twice monthly for confidential coaching sessions to create insights and support the Leader to develop new strategies and leadership practices.

  • At mid-point of coaching engagement, Leader, Coach, and Leader’s manager meet to review progress and make adjustments, if necessary.

Phase Three: Engagement Conclusion and Evaluation

  • Coach conducts follow-up interviews with Leader’s key stakeholders.

  • Leader, Coach, and Leader’s manager review key stakeholder feedback and progress on goals. They discuss plans for Leader’s ongoing development, and systematically end the coaching engagement.

  • Leader evaluates Coach and the coaching engagement.
